This is a picture of one of the owlets less than 2 weeks after leaving the next. There he was just balancing on this tiny little branch. I thought for sure the branch was going to tip over...but I guess he really wasn't that heavy. I just love this picture. It makes me smile.
 
This card is part of a series of cards and soon to be prints of the Great Horned Owl family I followed for over 3 months this past spring/summer. I feel so lucky to have watched this baby grow.
