I had driven out to Kananskis County west of Turner Valley one day in October. My goal was to take some fall colour pictures but I quickly realized I wouldn't be able to as it was very windy and the sky was grey and flat. So, I decided I needed to zoom in a bit. I took the turnoff to the Sandy McNabb campground where I came upon a herd of cows just munching away on the grass. I love seeing them just randomly in the forest. This cow caught my eye and I knew I wanted to create a very close up picture of her peeking around a tree.
